S.D. College of Management Studies has commenced a Seven-Day Orientation program for newly admitted MBA and MCA students.
The objective of the programme is to familiarize students with the college’s academic system, curriculum, teaching methodology, discipline, internal assessment, attendance regulations, available facilities, and various activities, thereby ensuring a positive and effective beginning to their new academic journey.
The programme commenced with a sacred Hawan, in which Dr. Alok Kumar Gupta, Principal of the MBA and MCA departments, Principal Mrs. Babli Tomar, and all the faculty members of the departments were present. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati and Saraswati Vandana.
The programme was successfully conducted by Dr. Vibhuti Aggarwal, while the faculty members were introduced by Lecturer Mrs. Ritu Mittal. As part of the programme, an exciting quiz competition was organized to assess and encourage the students’ intellectual development and quick decision-making abilities.
During the seven-day orientation programme, various academic and co-curricular activities will be organized for MBA and MCA students. The programme will include activities like introductory and interaction sessions, group discussions, digital and technical skills, and sessions related to the requirements of the corporate and business world.
The programme was attended by faculty members from the MBA and MCA departments and the D.El.Ed. department, including Dr. Shubham Tayal, Mahima Mangal, Mukul Jain, Parul Kumar, Devesh Gupta, Aditya Kashyap, Tarang Sharma, Prashant Tomar, Annu Tyagi, Umang Sharma, Ayush Gupta, Vivek Saini, Vaishali, Rajiv Kumar, Varun Kumar, Sangeeta Kaushik, Sandeep Garg, Rashmi Kaushik, Anurag Saini, Ravi Bhargava, and other faculty members, along with the newly admitted students.
The programme concluded with an interactive session in which students asked questions and engaged in discussions.
